The Pulaski Area Historical Society (PAHS) is excited to announce that the organization will hold its 50th Annual Meeting and Dinner on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. In honor of the 50 year celebration, the Prince of Pierogi will be catering an authentic Polish meal. New this year, will also be an option to purchase a frozen Pierogi Six Pack(s), ahead of time, and pick-up at the American Legion from 4:30-5:30 p.m. the same night of the meeting. Members attending the meeting will be able to take orders after the event. There is a link on the www.pulaskiwihistory.com website to purchase orders, however, orders must be placed by October 19th.
The event is scheduled to be held at the Pulaski American Legion, 135 N. Saint Augustine Street, in Pulaski. Social 6:00 p.m. Dinner 7:00 p.m. Meeting to follow. The newly renovated museum, located at 121 W. Pulaski Street (walking distance from the Legion Hall) will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for tours, and members and non-members are encouraged to stop by during that time frame.
The 2022 Historic Preservation Award will be presented to the Pulaski Area Historical Society, by President, Larry Puzen for the extensive museum renovation that was constructed by the PAHS Board, members, volunteers, and community members. A digital presentation of museum accomplishments will be shown, a report by Curator, Steven Karcz, and a brief meeting will be held to update members on happenings within the organization over the past year. Board elections will also be held.
Tickets are available to PAHS members and non-members for $20/per person at local banks; Associated Bank, NorthShore Bank, and Premier Community Bank or by calling Norine Heuser at 920-822-5775.
